- Company
- SK Chemicals Life Science (South Korea)
Mvix is the brand name of mirodenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor developed and marketed by SK Chemicals Life Science in South Korea. It was launched in Korea in 2007, and an orally disintegrating film followed in 2011 for people who find tablets hard to swallow.
Where it is approved
A 2022 study notes that mirodenafil has been approved only in the Korean market. Trials studied 50 mg and 100 mg doses taken as needed.
How it compares
Mirodenafil acts quickly and briefly: in human studies it peaked about an hour after a dose. That makes it closer to sildenafil than to long-acting tadalafil.

Using a PDE5 inhibitor safely
