Helleva is the brand name of lodenafil carbonate, a PDE5 inhibitor developed and marketed by Cristália in Brazil.
An unusual design
Lodenafil carbonate is a pair of lodenafil molecules joined together. The body splits it into two molecules of the active drug, a design intended to improve absorption.
Evidence
A Brazilian phase III trial in 350 men compared 40 mg and 80 mg with placebo and found improved erectile function scores, with headache, flushing, rhinitis and indigestion among the side effects. Lodenafil is not authorized in the EU, UK or US.

About lodenafil
Lodenafil carbonate is a PDE5 inhibitor developed in Brazil. The body splits each molecule into two molecules of active lodenafil. It is not authorized in the EU, UK or US.
Using a PDE5 inhibitor safely
Never take a PDE5 inhibitor with nitrates, recreational nitrites (“poppers”) or riociguat, and do not combine two ED medicines. Seek urgent medical help for chest pain, an erection lasting more than four hours, or sudden loss of vision or hearing.
Common side effects include headache, flushing, indigestion and a blocked nose.
