Priligy is a dapoxetine reference brand for premature ejaculation. The Australian record checked here identifies a 30 mg presentation and AFT Pharmaceuticals as sponsor. Other markets and trial programmes may include other amounts; they should not be silently added to this specific registration record.
Benefit means more than extra minutes
The Australian information describes a defined PE indication, including the symptom pattern and age range. Dapoxetine research measures perceived control, distress and satisfaction as well as time to ejaculation. Group averages help explain the evidence, but do not predict an individual’s result.
The dapoxetine article shows both placebo improvement and the difference between arithmetic and geometric averages in the large trial programme. That context is more informative than quoting only the highest average or presenting a longer duration as the sole treatment goal.
Important regional restrictions
The label addresses nausea, dizziness, fainting, alcohol and serotonergic interactions. It also advises against use with PDE5 inhibitors. Clinical research in selected men already on stable ED treatment is discussed separately in the ingredient article; that research is not blanket permission to ignore the applicable product information.
Duralast and Poxet are other dapoxetine records. Fixed-combination tablets add another ingredient and cannot inherit Priligy’s authorization or trial evidence automatically. A clinician should assess whether the main concern is ejaculation control, erection quality or both before a convenient-sounding combination determines the treatment discussion.

About dapoxetine
Dapoxetine has defined regional PE indications and on-demand trial evidence. Control and distress matter as well as measured minutes. Fainting, alcohol and interacting medicines need review; standalone evidence does not validate every ED/PE combination.
